Diamondback Trace Sport Bike Review
The Diamondback Bicycles Trace ST Dual Sport Bike is a specially designed hybrid bike, perfect for riding both on and off-road. It is available in an affordable price range.
When I bought the bike, I wondered about its durability. After all, I wanted to take it for long-distance riding, in various kinds of trails. The good news is that after six months of daily use, it's still as good as new.
I ordered the bike online. After unpacking it, I saw that I got everything I needed to make the bike ready to go: an owner's manual, a tool kit, and an assembly guide. It took me just 30 minutes to assemble the bike.
Of course, I didn't have to do everything. All I needed to do after unpacking was to fit the pedals and do some other adjustments. Trust me. It was very straightforward!
Top Features of Diamondback Bicycles Trace ST Dual Sport Bike
The Trace ST comes with all the things I needed in a sport bike.
Frame construction is very important for me, and I prefer the aluminum frame in a sport bike.
The Trace ST comes with a high-quality aluminum alloy construction. It is perfectly lightweight, and I have never had any issues controlling it for the last six months.
The most attractive feature of the Trace ST is its gear combination. The bike comes with 21 gears and Shimano 3×7 speed. These help me ride fast in any terrain.
It also comes with the Shimano RevoShift, which makes it easy to change gear. You just twist the barrel up and down, and it responds quickly.
The braking system is really good at this sport bike. The Trace ST has Tektro disc brake, which helps me to ride in various terrains. Its 160mm rotors front and rear wheels make a perfect brake combination. When you need to stop the bike instantly, it responds immediately, which can be an excellent feature when you are riding.
As a bike enthusiast, you may agree with me that hybrid bikes should come with wide tires. They are used on rough roads, so the tires should be capable of rolling over any obstacles smoothly.
The Diamondback Bicycles Trace ST bike comes with dual-sport tires. These are much more durable and perfect for tough riding.
Hybrid bikes must be comfortable to ride. Comfort depends on some essential features like the handlebar, seat, pedals, and bike height, among others.
The handlebar should be wide enough that it feels natural to hold them. The seat should be padded, and at the right height and distance, so you won't feel any discomfort when riding the bike.
Don't forget the pedals! They must be strong enough and wide enough for your feet to comfortably fit in them.
Bike height also plays a vital role in providing comfort while riding. Before buying one, make sure that the bike is perfect for your height. You must be able to straddle it with both your feet on the ground.
The good news is, all of the above features and advantages are available on the Diamondback Bicycles Trace ST Dual Sport Bike. It has fulfilled my expectations and more.
This is my overall experience using the Diamondback Bicycles Trace ST Dual Sport Bike. As you can see, it has its pros and cons, but there are definitely more advantages than disadvantages.
So, if you’re looking for a sport bike, check out the Diamondback Trace ST. It will take you places because of its comfort, durability, and ease of use of the brakes and gear options.
